This 1970 Stingray runs and drives on its current 350 V8 paired with a Muncie M20 4-speed — but the plan is already in motion. The 350 is coming out in favor of an updated L33 Vortec for modern performance and reliability, while the M20 stays put. Because sometimes nostalgia wins, and rowing through the gears in a '70 Corvette is one of those times. Not a numbers matching car, which means the build can go wherever the vision takes it.
The current focus on the car remains in the interior. The previously tri-colored worn out tan had to go, and is being replaced with an updated black dye on the dash, carpet, trim and door panels. Some other minor enhancements include:
